Arsene Wenger Pays Tribute To Italian Giants Juventus
Arsene Wenger has paid tribute to Juventus over their success under Antonio Conte.
Wenger, writing in his Eurosport column, highlighted the Bianconeri’s achievement in topping a Champions League group containing Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea.
The 63 year old said : “Let’s not forget Juventus, who eventually sealed their qualification on the final day,”.
“That they did so in such a fashion means something – it’s the sign of the great team in an exceptional state of mind. I believe Juve have been reborn.
“Now we are into the knock-out phase of the competition – with direct elimination – I think Juventus can go far because they are capable of springing a surprise.”
