Martin Keown : Future Without Wenger At Arsenal Is Unthinkable!

Arsenal hero Martin Keown has declared that Arsene Wenger deserves more time with the current squad.

The former Gunners defender argued in the Daily Mail: “Arsene Wenger knows he needs to put things right at Arsenal. No-one will know that more than Arsene Wenger himself.

“The future without Wenger at Arsenal is unthinkable. The manager has rebuilt his side, so we should give the new team time to show they can bounce back from adversity.

“Undoubtedly the talent is there. Young players such as Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Wojciech Szczesny should be given time.

“Now is not the time to judge this team – and it would be unfair to pin all of the blame on the current squad. There is this feeling the defeat at Bradford leaves them at a crossroads but I don’t subscribe to that.

“They should be given the chance to prove they have the ingredients to overcome their current difficulties.”
