The agent of Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has revealed Bayern Munich have dropped out of the race for his signature.
Arsenal appear set for a clear run at the France international.
“We had contact with Bayern Munich over Yann M’Vila,” Werner Baader told the French press.
“He is not the kind of player they are looking for at Bayern. They are looking for someone in this position, but they want somebody with different abilities.”
