Landon Donovan Wants LA Galaxy To Keep Pushing
LA Galaxy captain Landon Donovan has labelled the Western Conference of MLS as much stronger as the East and has urged his team to start moving up the table.
The Galaxy sit seventh of nine teams in the west with a record of 3-1-4 and ahead of Saturday’s home meeting with New York Red Bulls, Donovan wants an improved performance to get the points required to start pushing towards the top.
“Saturday is a game that’s very important now and we have to get points out of it,” Donovan told the club’s official website.
“Everybody knows that the West is a lot stronger than the East, and it will get very difficult as the year goes on, so we’ve got to start making our move or else we will find ourselves in a bad place.”
