Paul Robinson Delighted To Accept Blackburn Rovers Captaincy
Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson is delighted to be club captain.
Robinson, 32, took over as captain following Chris Samba’s £12million move to Anzhi Makhachkala.
The keeper has urged disgruntled fans to stick with the players, rather than continue protests against Kean and owners Venky’s.
He said: “We need to make this a place that teams don’t like coming to.
“When I was at Tottenham and Leeds this was one of those places where you’d be happy if you got a point.”
