Peter Odemwingie Hails West Brom Teammate Marc-Antoine Fortune
Peter Odemwingie has highlighted the influence of Marc-Antoine Fortune on West Bromwich Albion’s form turnaround.
The Nigerian international striker says both his and the team’s freescoring form would not have been possible without Fortune’s clever hold-up and link-up play.
“Marco is doing a great job,” said Odemwingie, who has now hit double figures for two successive seasons, to the WBA website.
“He is a very skilful player who can keep the ball and assist others.
“He is in good form and you could see that, even in the last minute on Saturday, he was still making efforts to stretch their defence.
“Hopefully, he will score another goal soon. He deserves it.”
