Everton Sign Real Madrid Winger Royston Drenthe
It has been revealed that Premier League side Everton have clinched the signing of Real Madrid wing-back Royston Drenthe.
The Dutch international winger, still only 24, arrives on a season long loan from the Spanish giants and offers extra pace and flair to the Blues squad.
Drenthe, who can also operate at full-back, shot to prominence after being named player of the tournament in the 2007 European Under-21 championships, which Holland won.
He also competed in the 2008 Olympics and went on to gain his first full international cap in November 2010.
That success prompted a €14m move to the Bernabeu from boyhood club Feyenoord.
