Sunderland Prepared To Bid Big For Rennes Fullback Rod Fanni
Premier League club Sunderland FC are ready to bid big for Rennes fullback Rod Fanni.
It has been reported that manager Steve Bruce is prepared to fork out at least £5million for 28-year-old Rennes right back Fanni.
It is believed that no fewer than four Sunderland representatives saw Fanni in action for Rennes in their goalless draw at St Etienne on Tuesday night.
It was also said that Bruce, his No.2 Eric Black, chief scout Ricky Sbragia and European scout Ian Atkins were at the game.
However it is believed that the Black Cats may have a fight on their hands as local rivals Manchester City and Everton are also keeping tabs.
