Bayern Munich are set to welcome star French playmaker Franck Ribery to a team that has won its past seven matches.

The France international is close to a return to action after missing the past three months with a knee injury and toe infection as Bayern prepare to take on Werder Bremen on the weekend.

His return has been welcomed by teammate Arjen Robben who told reporters that Ribery is a world-class player and that Bayern will now become even more dangerous.
