Steve Bruce Denies Link With Manchester United Goalkeeper Ben Foster
Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has played down talks that he is finding a replacement for current goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
This came after reports suggested that Bruce has been linked with a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
However Steve Bruce told reporters that he likes Ben Forster and thinks that he is a good goalkeeper, but there is no truth in the story that Sunderland will be making a bid for him.
He added that Craig Gordon was proving that he is a top goalkeeper before breaking his arm.
Bruce then said that Gordon is back now and he may give him 45 minutes on Thursday with a view to involving the goalkeeper at Portsmouth for their weekend clash.
