River Plate Target New York Red Bulls Striker Juan Pablo Angel

Rumors are surfacing that Argentine club River Plate are planning a return for New York Red Bulls striker Juan Pablo Angel.

The Colombian star has been linked with a return to the Argentine Primera Division club he served so well from 1998 until 2000 but Angel insists he has heard nothing from River.

Angel is believed to have said that his gratefulness and affection for River Plate will be eternal and that it is a very important club for him.

It is also said that the striker does not know anything or heard from anybody on the matter.
