West Ham To Battle Celtic For French Striker Olivier Giroud
Premier League side West Ham United are reported to be moving for FC Tours striker Olivier Giroud, who is also a target for Scottish giants Celtic.
It is said that Gianfranco Zola have been watching the free-scoring Frenchman and are set to enter the bidding when the transfer window opens in January.
They would be able to offer him a more lucrative financial package than Celtic but it’s believed the Parkhead side’s persistence and lure of European football continues to sway the player towards Glasgow.
Celtic have been in constant contact with the player’s agents and his Ligue 2 side Tours to make it clear they want Giroud to rekindle their SPL title bid.
