Beckham Wants To Continue Playing For England After The World Cup
World football superstar David Beckham has revealed that he wants to continue playing for the England national team even after next year’s World Cup finals in South Africa.
The LA Galaxy midfielder told reporters that even if England won the World Cup and he equals the caps record in the final, he would still find it hard to walk away from playing.
Beckham also said that even if that dream came true, he would still make himself available to play for England and that he would love to still be involved in some way, whether it is actually playing a game or not.
Beckham also said that his passion for the team and the country is that strong and that is something that is never going to change.
Earlier this month, Beckham agreed a deal to rejoin AC Milan on loan from the Galaxy in January thereby boosting his hopes of a place in the England squad for the 2010 tournament.
