Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Arsenal are ready to offer £5 million for Hoffenheim midfielder Maicosuel.

Local newspapers have reported that the Brazilian midfielder has been earning rave reviews in the Bundesliga at TSG Hoffenheim.

It is now believed that manager Arsene Wenger is keen to add to his squad in January and has sent scouts to watch Maicosuel in action.

The 23-year-old would have no problems settling into the Arsenal squad as his Brazilian colleague Denilson is a key member of the first-team group at Emirates Stadium.
