Spurs Keeper Carlo Cudicini Seriously Hurt after Bike Crash

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident.

The Italian broke both wrists and injured his pelvis after his BMW motorbike collided with a Ford Fiesta in Walthamstow at 10.30am on Thursday.

Cudicini was taken to hospital in an ambulance, while an air ambulance was flown in but not used.

A police spokesman said: “A 36-year-old male suffered injuries described as possibly life-changing and was taken to an East London hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

The female driver of the car and her passenger were reported to have escaped serious injury and did not need hospital treatment.
