The Italy international is emerging as the centre-forward Milan coach Leonardo is seeking after seeing summer signing Klaas Jan Huntelaar fail to come up to the mark.

It kas been reported by the Italian press that AC Milan are keen to setup a loan deal in January for Pepe, though Udinese would only consider an outright sale.
