Steve Bruce Interested In Tottenham Midfielder David Bentley

Sunderland FC is reported to be interested in Tottenham winger David Bentley.

It has been reported that Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is considering a move for the England international midfielder, who has endured a terrible time at White Hart Lane since leaving Blackburn in a £15million move.

Although currently in the Spurs team following an injury to Aaron Lennon, manager Harry Redknapp is yet to be convinced by the midfielder and he would be available at the right price.

It is believed that Steve Bruce is an admirer of David Bentley and is interested in adding his quality to the Sunderland squad in January.
