Vince Grella Set To Return To Action For Blackburn
Blackburn Rovers midfielder Vince Grella is on the verge of a return to the first team after a niggling thigh injury has kept him out for the past few weeks.
The Australian international was injured whilst on duty for his country in a friendly against Holland on October 12 and has been unable to take his place in Sam Allardyce’s squad since.
But the 30-year old has revealed that he is very close to full fitness and a return to action.
Grella told a local radio station that he is feeling good at the moment.
Grella however said that the game against Manchester United may be a little too soon but believes that he should be ready for the Portsmouth game on the 7th of November.
Grella also revealed that he was not only suffering from quad strain but had a bad case of flu and that it did not get better for almost two weeks.
The player however said that he feels much better now.
