Robinho Set For Shock Early Return
Sensational news are out and it has been reported that Brazil international winger Robinho is on course for a shock Manchester City return nearly a month ahead of schedule.
The Brazilian superstar, now age 25, has been out for six weeks after breaking a bone in his ankle while on international duty.
Manchester City’s £32.5million record buy returned to training on Saturday after having a protective cast removed and it is believed that the striker has now targeted the visit of Fulham on October 25 for his return to first-team action.
Defensive midfielder Vincent Kompany, now age 23, is also determined to force his way back into the side following surgery on an injured toe.
Kompany, who was linked with Barcelona, said that he has always wanted to be one of the main players in a big team that wins trophies.
He added that he has just signed a new deal and Manchester City’s ambitions are the same as his.
