Drogba Wants Chelsea To Sign Patrick Vieira

Interesting news are out and it has been reported that striker Didier Drogba has told Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to sign midfielder Patrick Vieira in January.

Chelsea have appealed against their 18-month transfer ban and Drogba wants Ancelotti to move in for Inter Milan veteran Vieira if the appeal is upheld.

He told reporters that it would be a good move for Chelsea to bring Patrick Vieira as the team is set to miss several players in January, particularly in midfield, because of the African Nations Cup.

Drogba added that he played against Vieira last summer and that he was very strong.

It is believed that Ancelotti sees Vieira as the perfect replacement for Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel when they are away on international duty.

Former Arsenal skipper Vieira, now 33, was at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday.

    i wish if essien could stay from the afric.nati.cup
    i understand they are helping their nation score big and they are one of the biggest play role makers in the team.but this would bring about a dismay to the club.with respect to their excercised rights i would say y…n…We need them for our premeirship tittle

    DROGBA.,,,this guy is one of the cleverest and faniest of all.i wish if he wasnt banned for the UEFA ,we could show Atletico a lesson they hav never expected,all thanks be to God for winning agaist Luzapool.and i think if u we were to notice this luza team it is one of the teams based on complaints and gradges….esp
