David Beckham Ready For England Call Up
LA Galaxy’s midfield superstar David Beckham has insisted that he will be available for England’s friendly match against the Dutch national team in August.
It is a wide known fact that the former England captain has endured a turbulent return to Los Angeles Galaxy in the last week, being subjected to abuse from a section of the crowd angered by his desire to return to AC Milan following a loan spell in Italy.
But the 34-year-old winger, who has always maintained his desire to keep playing for England, insisted that he will report for duty if Fabio Capello selects him for the Amsterdam friendly.
Beckham also said that everyone knows that he has always been available for the England national team whether it be a friendly or a qualifying game.
Beckham also said that he has spoken to Galaxy coach Bruce Arena and the manager will be happy if he gets called up for England as the club totally support him.
Beckham also insisted that he is committed to playing for the Galaxy and denied rumours that he has put his Beverly Hills home on the market.
Speaking after a training session, he said he was enjoying being back at the club after a five-month loan to AC Milan.
