Pavel Nedved Decides To Quit Football
Pavel Nedved has finally made a decision and he has decided to walk away from football after revealing he has no intention of signing for Inter Milan or joining the coaching staff at former side Juventus.
The 36-year-old has stated that he will quit Juventus at the end of last season and hinted that he was retiring but champions Inter Milan and manager Jose Mourinho have been trying to persuade him to make a shock move to the San Siro.
Nedved told local reporters that he cannot imagine wearing a different jersey to Juve’s but also said that he don’t see himself working with this particular Juve group.
There were also rumours which stated that the 2003 European player of the year could end up playing in the United States.
Nedved moved to Juventus in 2001 for a fee of €41 million as a replacement for Zinédine Zidane, and has so far played 244 competitive matches for Juventus and scored 51 goals along the way.
