FC Barcelona Confirm Talks With Valencia Striker David Villa
Sensational transfer news are out and it has been reported that Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that the club have lodged a bid of over €40million with Valencia for striker David Villa.
It has been reported that a host of top clubs have been chasing Villa this summer, with Barcelona understood to have been locked in talks with Los Che for the past few weeks.
It is believed that Spanish giants Real Madrid have already pulled out of the race to sign the 27-year-old forward, saying the price was too high.
English clubs Chelsea and Manchester United are both still interested, but it is believed that David Villa’s preference is a move to either Real or Barcelona and stay in Spain.
