Liverpool Wants Midfielder Lorik Cana

It looks like Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has lost the battle of trying to keep his star midfielder Xabi Alonso in Anfiled.
It has been reported now that Rafa has joined the race to sign Marseille midfielder Lorik Cana.

Local France newsapers have reported that Benitez was interested in the Marseille’s Albanian skipper Cana and now have intensified his pursuit.

It is believed that Marseille have already signed two players for their midfield in Lucho Gonzalez and Everton target Stephane M’Bia and is prepared to let Cana leave.

This could only mean that Xabi Alonso will be heading to Real Madrid as the next Galatico.
