Manchester United wants Ashley Young of Aston Villa

Sensational transfer news are out and it has been reported by local newspapers that Premier League Champions Manchester United are being linked with a possible move for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young.

Reports have suggested that the 23-year-old is unsettled at Villa Park following the sale of the club’s prize asset Gareth Barry to Manchester City.

It is also believed that Chelsea are keen on his services as are Manchester United. But Tottenham are hoping to steal a march as both clubs duel over primary big-money targets such as Franck Ribery and David Villa.

It is believed that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is willing to send Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley to Villa Park in exchange for Young.
